Philips Research is part of Corporate Technologies.
The organizations grouped under Corporate Technologies have
a strong history in contributing to the innovation in
Philips and the development of new markets. Building on the
resulting competencies, Corporate Technologies today creates
and licenses options and Intellectual Property (IP),
provides Research & Development (R&D) services and incubates
new businesses.
The management of Philips Research reports directly to the
Corporate Technology Officer (CTO) of Philips, Dr Rick
Harwig. The
Chief Executive Officer of Philips Research is
Dr Peter
Wierenga.
