The Philips Orthopedic Trainer is suitable
for intensifying and optimising rehabilitation training
after:
- total endoprostheses of hip joint and other hip
surgeries
- total endoprostheses of knee joint
- fractures of the pelvic girdle
- meniscus injuries
- injuries of the cruciate ligament and other
ligaments
- injuries of the ankle joint
- arthrosis
- generally weak conditions
Using the Philips Orthopedic Trainer, you can
do your exercises independently and safely. Your
individual training program will be established by
therapists and physicians - this guarantees that the
exercises can be repeated effectively and at a
reasonable frequency.
Many patients have a feeling that they could “do more”
than they actually do - but the number and duration of
the training sessions are limited. Using the Philips Orthopedic Trainer you can – subject to the
therapist’s consents – increase your training
performance. You can train early in the morning of in
the evening and even at the weekend without any risk of
skipping parts of your training program or doing the
exercises with reduced training effect.
The Philips Orthopedic Trainer has been
developed by therapists and engineers especially for
patients in orthopaedic rehabilitation and is
particularly easy to operate – even for less experienced
computer users.
The product is intended to be used under supervision of
a healthcare professional.
