Chicago, USA -
During the 91st annual meeting of the Radiological
Society of North America (RSNA), Philips announces
new technologies for the realization of integrated
solutions that cover all aspects of the care cycle –
i.e. diagnosis, procedure planning and execution,
and after care – thus providing more efficient and
personalized patient care.
While being in different stages of development, the
technologies include high-contrast, high-brightness
LCDs for displaying sharper and brighter radiology
images, new Magnetic Resonance (MR) acquisition and
analytical techniques for the early assessment of
diseases and for monitoring the effects of therapy
in follow-up studies, highly automated image
analysis and modeling software for fast and accurate
diagnosis of heart disorders, and new image-guidance
technologies that reduce the procedure times,
improve accuracy, and increase safety of
interventional procedures.
