In the presence of several ministers from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, Philips and the university medical centers Maastricht UMC+ (the Netherlands) and the Universitätsklinikum Aachen (Germany) have signed a letter of intent for a joint cross-border medical research program in the field of cardiovascular diseases and cancer.
