Thomas is with Philips Research Hamburg since 1980. He has a background in electrical engineering and is an expert in medical information technology, widely recognized inside and outside Philips. He combines his knowledge on hospital processes in radiology and cardiology with his computer science background, e.g. leading to important contributions to the fields of medical workstations and work-flow management in healthcare.
