Pierre Woerlee, Research Fellow

Pierre
is with Philips Research since 1980. His research covered electrical
transport in thin films and nano-scale structures, process integration
and device physics of CMOS and related devices. He was project leader
for 0.5-μm CMOS, DPROM (‘singing chip’) and RF CMOS and has an extensive
network both with Philips Semiconductors and the scientific world. He
was the first non-US general chair of the International Electronics
Devices Meeting (IEDM). He is now active in the field of standards in
optical recording. From 1992 to 2001, he was part-time professor at the
University of Twente. |
