HeartCycle project

The HeartCycle project is a European Union (EU) funded research project aimed at improving care of heart patients through the development of innovative telemonitoring solutions. The Philips led project has started on March 1, 2008, and is one of the largest biomedical and healthcare research projects within the EU.

Monitoring each patient’s condition will be achieved using a combination of unobtrusive bio-sensors built into the patient’s clothing or bed sheets and home appliances such as weighing scales and blood pressure monitors.
